Welcome to MinecraftEdu installation!

If this is your first time using MinecraftEdu, please visit http://minecraftedu.com/wiki/index.php?title=Getting_started to read our "Getting Started" guide in the Wiki.

Installation procedure

By default the installation location is %appdata%/minecraftedu folder. You can however change this to whatever you like.

This installer does not add anything into your registry or any other folder than in the installation folder and if you are using Windows or Linux, installer asks if you wish to create shortcut to desktop, which will then be added into the desktop if selected. On Mac systems, you will be opened a folder containing application that can be added into your dock.

If the installer detects that you already had MinecraftEdu installed, installer will ask if you want to take backup of your files before the actual installation begins.
